Founded in 1997, Leaseweb is a prominent global Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider managing over 80,000 servers for a diverse clientele of 20,000 customers, ranging from small businesses to large enterprises.
The company operates a vast footprint of more than 20 data centers across Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America, all interconnected by a high-capacity global network exceeding 10 Tbps. Its comprehensive service suite includes public and private cloud solutions, dedicated servers, colocation, and cyber security services, providing the scalable foundation necessary for mission-critical web applications and global digital operations.
Leaseweb MTL-01 is a Tier III data centre with 13,200 sq ft of colocation space at 20 place du Commerce on Nuns' Island, Montreal. Laurentian Bank built it in 1998, and iWeb moved in in May 2008. INAP bought iWeb in 2013, and Leaseweb acquired iWeb in August 2021.
Leaseweb's LON-12 data center is a Tier III facility strategically located in the heart of London’s Docklands, offering approximately 3,700 m² (nearly 40,000 sq ft) of secure technical space.
Leaseweb MTL-02 is Leaseweb's Montreal flagship data centre, a Tier III facility at 7207 boulevard Newman in LaSalle. iWeb opened it in 2011 in a 31,000 sq ft building from 1973, and Leaseweb acquired iWeb in August 2021. It offers 12,000 sq ft of hosting space with 8,700 sq ft of raised floor.
Leaseweb MTL-03 was a data centre at 5945 boulevard Couture in Montreal's Saint-Léonard borough. iWeb bought and converted the 1976 building in 2006, and the site passed to INAP and then Leaseweb. Leaseweb took it out of its data centre portfolio in spring 2026.
