GCSB: Matai, Whenuapai
Mātai is GCSB's all-of-government secure data centre at RNZAF Base Auckland in Whenuapai, West Auckland, built with the New Zealand Defence Force to store the country's most sensitive public-sector information. Construction began in September 2022, and the facility officially opened in mid-2025.
