WBS Power: Brandenburg Campus

Year Planned: 2028

Sites on this Campus:

Located on the site of a former military airfield in Lichterfeld-Schacksdorf, Brandenburg, this upcoming hyperscale data center is a strategic joint venture between WBS Power and Prime Capital. By being situated directly alongside the major "Project Jupiter" renewable energy complex, the data center will benefit from immediate access to a 500 MW / 2,000 MWh battery energy storage system and 150 MWp of solar power. This co-location model, supported by a direct connection to the 50Hertz 380 kV high-voltage line, allows the facility to secure a stable, carbon-neutral power supply while bypassing regional grid constraints.

With an estimated total investment of €500 million for the integrated site, construction for the infrastructure is expected to begin in late 2026, positioning this Brandenburg hub as a vital piece of Germany's future AI and cloud computing landscape.
