VSData has broken ground on its new 125-rack data center near Yerevan, Armenia, with a target operational date by the end of 2025. This Tier III facility, seemingly the company's first, aims to provide colocation and other services.

Located in a cooler gorge in Aragatsotn, the data center will benefit from two independent power lines and a unique spring water-based cooling system. A 25km fiber optic line will connect it to the capital, Yerevan. The company notes the gorge's naturally cooler temperature (5°C/41°F colder than the surrounding area) will help reduce cooling expenses.
