The Justified Data Campus is a 750-acre, high-density AI and HPC data center development by TeraWulf Inc. located at the former Century Aluminum smelter in Hawesville, Kentucky.
By repurposing this brownfield site, the project leverages a massive, pre-existing on-site substation to secure substantial, near-term power capacity, bypassing multi-year utility queues to target an accelerated launch by late 2027. Representing a $3.7 billion investment, the campus will feature advanced closed-loop liquid cooling, drastically reducing local resource impact by using less water over several years than the previous smelter consumed in a single day.
