Built in Silicon Village within Capital Smart City, the facility uses cold-plate liquid cooling and an N+1 redundant design to support high-density AI and cloud workloads. Delivery combined ZTE's mechanical and electrical work with civil construction from Habib Rafiq and support from Orient Energy Systems and Kent Data Centres, and the site holds an Uptime Institute Tier III Certification of Design Documents. It was inaugurated by Pakistan's Prime Minister alongside the country's top military officer, though its claim to being the country's largest data center is contested by a separate Karachi project.

Operating Company

Operated by:

Led by CEO Hassan Abbas, Sky47 emerged as Mari Energies' entry into data centers, part of the oil and gas company's broader diversification into technology infrastructure. Mari Technologies, a wholly-owned Mari Energies subsidiary, holds 60% of Sky47, tying the operator to the Fauji Foundation, the military-linked conglomerate that controls Mari Energies. Sky47 positions itself as a sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure provider, with a pipeline of facilities planned beyond its initial Islamabad site, including projects in Karachi and Lahore developed alongside China's ZTE Corporation.
