The Bavarian State Parliament has allocated over €270 million ($283m) to expand the North Bavarian High-Performance Computing Center (NHR@FAU) at Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) Erlangen-Nuremberg. This significant investment will facilitate the construction of a new data center in southern Erlangen, where one of FAU's campuses is located.
