National Data Center Ivory Coast

Year Planned: 2027

Côte d’Ivoire is building its first state-owned National Data Center inside the VITIB technology free zone in Grand-Bassam, near Abidjan.

Developed by Washington-based Cybastion Institute of Technology with local partners and backed by a U.S. Export-Import Bank guarantee, the facility is intended to host critical government systems, strengthen cybersecurity, and advance national data sovereignty by keeping public-sector data on Ivorian soil. Construction is underway at the site, with the data center targeted to become operational in 2027.
