Go to PodcastThe proposed data center campus at the former ILTE printing plant in Moncalieri, near Turin, was advanced by Moncalieri Logistics (linked to the LCP real estate fund) for a roughly 270,000 m² brownfield site. Plans called for four new two-story buildings, each about 17 meters high, with a combined gross floor area of around 173,500–175,000 m².
If approved, it would have ranked among the largest data center projects in Italy, but the proposal has been halted amid local opposition over energy, water, and environmental concerns, with the municipality deeming the current version unacceptable as of October 2026.
