Chilean telco GTD is advancing the development of its second Peruvian data center, strategically located in the Lurín industrial hub outside Lima. Situated on a 10,000 sqm plot, the facility is a $50 million long-term project designed to house 960 racks across 2,100 sqm of white space.

Following the successful launch of Phase 1 in 2024, GTD has allocated $13 million in 2026 to initiate the project’s second phase. While construction is underway throughout 2026, Phase 2 is officially expected to be operational by 2027, though timelines may accelerate pending the acquisition of a major anchor tenant.
