Year Planned: 2028

Led by GreenMet CEO and former White House aide Drew Horn, this project (commonly referred to as the Kangerlussuaq Data Center Campus) aims to establish a premier AI infrastructure hub in Greenland’s remote Kangerlussuaq region. Strategically located near a major international airport and deep-water fjord, the campus is designed to capitalize on the Arctic's natural "free cooling" and the island's vast hydroelectric potential to meet the surging global demand for sustainable computing.

The first phase of the facility is scheduled to become operational by mid-2027, while the second phase and full build-out are slated for completion by the end of 2028. While the venture has secured significant financial backing from private investors and technical partners, it is currently navigating a complex permitting process and heightened geopolitical tensions as it seeks formal land rights and government approvals to begin construction.
