Fluidstack: Bosquel Business Park

The high-profile plan to develop a massive AI data center campus at the Bosquel Business Park suffered a critical setback in March 2026 when the London-founded "neocloud" provider Fluidstack officially withdrew from the project. The company had previously committed to constructing a 1-gigawatt AI infrastructure facility on the site; however, it has canceled its European expansion plans to concentrate resources on the United States market.

As a result, the local authority, Somme Sud-Ouest (CC2SO), has reopened the procurement process to locate an alternative operator capable of developing the 33-hectare parcel and utilizing the site's 1.4GW maximum power allocation from grid operator RTE.
