The DC BLOX data center is built on the 27-acre, former Trinity Steel site in downtown Birmingham. The site will be built in phases. The first phase which was built in 2019 has 31,000 sqft and 5 megawatts (MW) of customer capacity.
As customers are added, the facility can grow up to 200,000 square feet and 80 MW. The site will also have 11,000 sqft of office space.

DC BLOX addresses these problems by building Tier 3 data centers in secondary 'edge' markets in the Southeastern United States.
Current DC BLOX data center locations are in Atlanta, GA, Chattanooga, TN, and Huntsville, AL and Birmingham, AL.
