Located in the Silverdale Industrial Estate, this new West London facility is a specialized two-story data center dedicated to AWS tape storage. Engineered for long-term "cold" archival, the site prioritizes high-density storage with a low-power demand of only 1 MW.
The infrastructure is designed for extreme resource efficiency, utilizing minimal cooling and consuming less than 150 cubic meters of water annually. To meet London’s environmental benchmarks, the project includes a £435,064 carbon offset payment. This streamlined facility is scheduled to be operational by late 2026, serving as a primary repository for the UK’s digital archives.
