Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced plans to develop a data center in Baruth/Mark, located within the Dahme-Spreewald district of Brandenburg. The facility is being established as part of the broader AWS European Sovereign Cloud infrastructure. While initial operations will utilize existing colocation facilities, the Baruth/Mark site is intended to eventually transition into a company-owned facility.
