AIZO Group Berhad has partnered with Netrunner Sdn Bhd to develop a Tier IV data center park in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Netrunner, a special purpose vehicle specializing in data center investments in Sarawak, will spearhead the technical development and design of the facility. AIZO Group, formerly known as Minetech Resources Berhad, will contribute by providing infrastructure support, developing clean energy solutions, and constructing water treatment facilities. The pair have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with local energy firm Syarikat SESCO for the sale and purchase of electricity for the data center.

This also marks Aizo’s maiden venture into the data center industry.
