Systemec: Venlo Marinus Dammeweg Campus

Systemec's Venlo campus sits on Marinus Dammeweg in the Trade Port business area on the Blerick side of Venlo, a few kilometres from the German border. Systemec is a Venlo internet and managed-service provider that Jos Derkx founded in the early 1990s. It runs both buildings.

• Buildings: DC25 is a server room inside Systemec's headquarters at Marinus Dammeweg 25. It serves shared racks and failover. DC19 next door is Systemec's largest data center, fitted into an industrial hall built in 1986.
• Cross-border design: Systemec pairs the Venlo buildings with its DC Nettetal, under 7 km away in Germany, as a "Twin Datacenter" linked by dark fiber. The Venlo site draws on the Enexis grid, and Nettetal draws on Stadtwerke Nettetal.
• Power: 2N+1 online UPS on separate A and B feeds. DC19 uses ABB Smissline TP distribution with modular ABB UPS systems. The standby generators burn GTL fuel, with diesel as the secondary supply, and Flexcity enrols them in the Dutch tertiary reserve.
• Cooling: DC19 uses direct free-air cooling, with chilled-water units for high-density racks.
• Connectivity: a carrier-neutral meet-me room with Eurofiber, KPN/Glaspoort, VodafoneZiggo, Odido, GTT and others, plus peering on NL-ix.
