Campus at a Glance
French data center firm Data4 is building a huge campus in Hanau, Germany. In 2022, European logistics real estate firm P3 Logistic Parks announced plans for a large data center campus on the site of a former army barracks in Hanau, to the east of Frankfurt. In 2023, Data4 acquired the approximately 20-hectare site from P3 and is building its own data center campus there.
- At least eight data center modules on a building area of around 200,000 sqm (2.1 million sq ft) are planned to be built over a period of ten years.
- P3 will continue to support the ongoing demolition and development work.
- The full development is expected to be completed by 2032.

Created in 2006 by Colony Capital, DATA4 is the European specialist in the construction and operation of ultra-secure data centers for French and international companies in the digital, manufacturing, service and banking and insurance sectors, who are seeking to outsource their data.
DATA4 manages flexible, high-performance and carrier- and cloud-neutral data centers, offering solutions from one colocation rack all the way through to purpose-built, dedicated facilities.
DATA4 Group operates data centers in France, Italy and Luxembourg, with a total net technical area of 22,000m² of IT rooms and more than 32 MW of IT power.
