The Agricultural Bank of China began construction of its Inner Mongolia data center in the Helinger New District in August 2022. With a total investment of 8.8 billion yuan, the facility will span 710,000 square meters and house 300,000 servers upon completion. The project is being implemented in three phases, with Phase 1 covering 209,000 square meters, including 128,000 square meters of computer room space. The first phase infrastructure comprises 6 computer room buildings, 4 power buildings, 2 spare parts warehouses, and a production and transportation building. The entire project is scheduled for completion by 2030.
