Vantage Ashburn Campus: Vantage completes the first structure of the 96MW Ashburn data center campus

Vantage Data Centers' VA21 data center in Ashburn, Virginia, has reached completion. VA21 is the first data center currently under development on the 96MW VA2 campus of Vantage. The 18-acre VA2 campus will house three data centers with 800,000 square feet of space. Dominion Energy will provide power to the facility.

The company initially filed to develop the campus in August 2022, less than one mile from its existing VA1 facility, which will provide more than 146MW at full buildout. The company is also constructing the 134-acre VA3 development in Ashburn. No estimated completion date for VA2 has been provided.

Globally, Vantage has 30 campuses with 13 million square feet of data center space. The company has announced plans for a $3 billion data center campus in Malaysia, purchased land in Phoenix, Arizona, and announced a second campus in west London so far this year.
