Brazil / Brasil: V.tal plans new facility in Port Alegre, Brazil

V.tal has announced that it's planning a new facility in Porto Alegre after acquiring a building in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. While no details related to financial terms, location, building size, or timelines were shared, the company, a Brazilian fiber firm part of telco GlobeNet, in a statement on LinkedIn, said its expansion plans are targeted in several regions of Brazil. 

The company outlined: "V.tal maintains an expansion plan in several regions of Brazil to meet the localized realities of operators, providers, and OTTs and the growing demand for real-time experiences."

Adding: "We have already acquired a property to accommodate a 4MW Edge data center in the city of Porto Alegre."
