TierPoint has announced that it is expanding in Missouri by investing $20 million into building a 23,000 square feet Tier III data center in the St. Louis region. The data center firm already has three facilities in Missouri; two in St. Louis and one in Kansas City. TierPoint has also secured an anchor tenant for the new data center scheduled to be completed and in operations Q2 of 2022.

Jerry Kent, CEO of TierPoint, said the Company’s decision to build its new facility in St. Louis is due to the increasing demand for world-class data center space in St. Louis. He added that he’s happy that TierPoint is able to meet this demand by expanding the geographical diversity of the commercial data center options in the region. The data center will be located in Westport, St. Louis County, and it will be the first of its size in the county.
