StratCap has announced the acquisition of a data center in Jacksonville, Florida. The company revealed that its data center real estate division, StratCap Data Centers bought a triple net leased data center for an undisclosed fee. The facility spans 2,400 square meters (25,600 square feet) and is fully leased to a top telecommunications carrier. The facility’s existing lease started in 2002. It was also extended to 2038 recently.

The CEO of StratCap DC, Bryan Marsh, said: “This was an off-market, relationship-driven opportunity to invest in a mission critical asset with a high-quality tenant and nearly 16 years of lease term remaining.” He continued by saying: “We think the property is a perfect fit for our overall investment strategy and adds significant value to our overall portfolio.”
