Slovakian AI cloud startup Sapience AI has received investment from Southeast Asian holding company and e-commerce platform Society Pass Inc.
Society Pass has made a minority investment worth $8.8 million in Sapience AI with the aim of expanding its presence in Europe. The investment marks Society Pass Inc's first investment in the data center and cloud space.
Corey Maynard, president of Sapience AI, said: “With global demand for AI compute surging, particularly from emerging AI software companies, Sapience AI’s focused strategy of serving the rapidly growing European market expects to deliver substantial value to shareholders of both Ascendance Group Limited, the majority shareholder of Sapience AI, and the Company.
