ProPetro Signs 60MW Power Supply Contract in US Midwest

US natural gas and petrochemicals firm ProPetro has signed a power supply contract with an unnamed hyperscale data center operator to supply 60MW of hybridized power at a Midwest location in the US. The deal will see ProPetro supply the data center company with power generated through a hybrid energy system that combines a battery energy storage system (BESS) with natural gas reciprocating engines.
