The government of Poland is looking to develop a National Data Center. This will comprise three fiber-linked facilities. The development comes after a draft bill document was published highlighting plans to build a ‘National Data Processing Center.’ According to the document, the plan is to strengthen the cyber security of the country’s data and applications.

Per the bill, the new data centers will allow the state to expand its existing systems to meet the demands of new systems. It will also help improve the e-services provided by public organizations. The State Treasury will own the data centers. The data centers will also span 21,500 square feet (2,000 square meters) each. The development is scheduled to start in 2024 and be completed in 2026.
