Partners Group has acquired edgeCore Digital Infrastructure. The equity company revealed that it would fund the $1.2 billion acquisition. The managing director of Partners Group, Ed Diffendal, said: "Through our thematic investing approach, we found rising demand for data centers in the US as service providers deploy more capacity to support businesses migrating to the cloud. We look forward to building out the platform."

EdgeCore currently operates six data center campuses across the country, across Silicon Valley, Phoenix, and Arizona.
