Ooredoo selects BDx as preferred bidder for Indonesian data centers

PT Indosat, part of Qatar's Ooredoo QPSC, has announced that it has selected Big Data Exchange (BDx) as its "preferred bidder" for the majority stake in its data centers business.

As reported by Bloomberg, BDx has emerged as the preferred buyer for a 75% stake in the company's data center assets - this 75% stake is valued at between $200 million and $250 million.

According to reports, details of the deal will be confirmed following the signing of an exclusivity period in the coming weeks.

BDx Data Centers has 11 sites.
