NTT will spend $50 million to construct two of its data centers for a new tenant in the Garland area of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. The company submitted applications to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for two fit-out projects at its existing campus under construction structures.

Both TX2 - Tenant Improvements and TX3 - Tenant Improvements, located in Garland at 2108 Lookout Drive and 2080 Lookout Drive, are for extensions to existing structures. TX2 will see the existing building fitted for new occupants with additional office space and data storage gear. The $25 million project is scheduled to commence in August 2024 and conclude in July 2025. The same amount will be invested for the same purposes in TX3, but construction will commence in December 2023 and conclude in December 2024.

In October 2022, NTT submitted plans to build a 229,500-square-foot data center called TX2 next to its current facility at 2008 Lookout Drive. The construction was scheduled to commence in November 2022 and conclude in January 2024. This year, the company submitted plans for TX3, a 230,000-square-foot development. Construction was anticipated to occur between March 2023 and April 2024.

One building, measuring 230,000 square feet, was constructed on the site of the former RagingWire in 2017. The 42-acre Garland campus reportedly has capacity for up to five buildings, providing 1.5 million sq ft of space and 80MW.
