NTT: NTT and Prestige to develop 100MW data center in Bangalore

NTT has announced that it has partnered with Prestige Group for a new 100 MW data center in Bangalore, India. 

The deal will see the company develop a one million square feet area spread across multiple buildings and constructed in three phases. 

According to the companies, the first building is set to be completed across 12 months, with a total of three data center buildings measuring 350,000 square feet. Prestige Group will construct this for NTT.

The company has shared that the total transaction value, which includes land and infrastructure development costs, amounts to INR 700 crore. 

While not commenting on the deal, Prestige CEO Juggy Marwaha told CIO News: “At Prestige, we see a huge opportunity in the data center, which is almost a corollary to our office business, which is growing rapidly. The need for power and grade A infrastructure that is critical for DC operations is drawing big operators to larger branded players like us.”
