A new startup by former Google staff, offering land and power for industrial campuses is now targeting European data centers.

“I am very pleased to announce the launch of Sepia Infrastructure,” Sepia CEO Fabien Vieau announced on LinkedIn this week. “Sepia Infrastructure delivers next-generation industrial campuses for electro-intensive users across Europe. And yes, this includes data centers!”

“We are convinced that new industrial campuses cannot be established successfully without a thoughtful, robust, and honest collaboration with the community and the authorities centered around local synergies and environmental initiatives,” Vieau added.

Other people named as part of Sepia include Andrew Metcalf, another Google veteran most recently part of the company’s subsea fiber team; and Amandine Chaillous, who has held numerous energy advisor and director roles, including at Neoen.
