Marwynn Holdings signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Grenada National Resort to evaluate an AI data center and solar plant in Grenada. The agreement, announced on Oct. 28, contemplates an aggregate project scale of about $500 million across the solar and computing components, with no predeter

Marwynn is the contracting party. Its wholly owned subsidiary NexaCore Technologies, formed in April 2026, will lead project development, technology implementation, and day-to-day execution under Marwynn's oversight. Grenada National Resort, a government-supported tourism and investment project at Levera on Grenada's northern coast, intends to make land available for the campus and to help coordinate with Grenadian authorities, utilities, and regulators. Data Center Dynamics reported that HSG International is building and managing the resort and described HSG International as the international spin-off of Sequoia Capital China.
The campus would pair on-site solar generation and battery storage with GPU-based computing capacity. The solar plant is intended to supply the data center's power, and surplus electricity would be sold where commercially viable. Substations, interconnection, and transmission infrastructure would be coordinated with local utilities and require their approval. Final capacity and site configuration will be set after feasibility studies, and the announcement included no power capacity figure.
The MOU runs for 24 months. During that term, the resort will not negotiate with third parties on a similar project without Marwynn's consent. Either party can terminate on 30 days' written notice, and Marwynn can exit immediately if it determines the project is not commercially or technically feasible. No value is assigned to the land, and the form of the resort's contribution will be settled after legal, technical, and valuation due diligence.
"Power supply is the hardest constraint in AI infrastructure," said Yin Yan, CEO of Marwynn Holdings. "In Grenada, we have a land partner and a site where we can evaluate building generation and computing capacity together, sized to each other from the start." Yan said Marwynn intends to develop the campus in phases, sizing each phase to feasibility studies and financing support.
Silicon Report reported that the resort intends to provide site land and to assist with permits and grid interconnection. Marwynn said it may finance the project through project equity, strategic and institutional investors, infrastructure funds, project and equipment financing, and capital markets transactions.
