Lee Kestler has been named the new CEO of data center builder EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure, a worldwide data center builder, owner, and operator. The company said this week that Kestler has been appointed as the new CEO of EdgeCore, effective immediately, by the board of directors. Tom Ray, a co-founder who held the position for more than five years, is succeeded by him. Prior to joining Vantage Data Centers, Kestler served as SVP of sales and leasing for Dupont Fabros Technologies. He also had positions with Exodus, GridCure, Nextra Energy, as well as Savvis.
With Partners Group's investment in Q4 2022, Kestler stated he has been happy to work with the EdgeCore team & Partners Group and chair the Board. The EdgeCore team has all the necessary components to continue operating at scale throughout the world in light of Partners Group's sustained dedication to investing for growth, including their dedication to safety and sustainability. With an emphasis on collaborating with hyperscalers, major corporations, and cloud providers, Ed Diffendal, managing director, co-head private infrastructure Americas, Partners Group, stated that Lee has a demonstrated history of establishing and scaling brands in the data center sector. They can't wait to see how he takes EdgeCore to new heights of development and success in his new position.
