Vodafone: KKR The Favorite To Acquire Vodafone's Tower Unit

According to Bloomberg, Investment company KKR is the frontrunner in the race to acquire Vodafone’s tower arm unit, Vantage Towers. The unit is worth a stunning $14 billion. KKR is competing with Cellnex Telecom for the acquisition. Vodafone is trying to sell off its 82% stake in the business to ease its debt burden. 

KKR has partnered with Global Infrastructure Partners to present Vodafone with its bid. On the other hand, Cellnex is teaming up with Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC Pte.
