Indonesia's Edge DC Secures Funding For Expansion

Edge DC of Indonesia has announced that it secured credit facilities with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. The company aims to use the funds to expand its business. It secured working capital loans worth IDR 100 billion ($7m) and credit facilities worth IDR 2.7 trillion ($188m). The company currently owns and operates a 6MW facility. Edge DC further noted that it is developing more data center location opportunities.

The Director of PT Bank Asia, Rudy Susanto, said the collaboration with Edge DC would help develop Indonesia’s digital infrastructure. He added that the financing BCA is providing would be geared towards the completion of EDGE1 and other developments at another site.
