There is growth ahead for Colt Data Centre Services (DCS), as it announces the acquisition of ten parcels of land across Europe and APAC for the development of greenfield hyperscale data centres, including in London, Frankfurt, Paris and Japan.
These parcels of land will see the company's portfolio jump by over 500MVA of secured power to develop hyperscale data centers. According to the company, these sites will also have scalable capacity and be built with its sustainability goals in mind.
Speaking about the company's expansion, Niclas Sanfridsson, CEO, Colt DCS, commented: "This announcement marks yet another major milestone in the acceleration of its hyperscale strategy and positions Colt DCS as a major hyperscale and large enterprise data centre provider in the market."
He added: "Colt DCS has truly put a stake in the ground with the acquisition of these ten new sites, signalling to the market the continued success of our approach.
