Google Breaks ground in Fredericia, Denmark

Alphabet’s Google is to invest 600 million euros ($685.98 million) to build its first data center in Denmark.

In a blog post, Google’s Vice President for Global Data Centers, Joe Kava, said the facility would be located just outside Fredericia, in the west of the country. Kava added that Google was “committed to matching its energy use with 100 percent carbon-free energy” in Fredericia.
