Everest Infrastructure Partners enters Portugal, buys Blue Sites Telco

Everest Infrastructure Partners has purchased TowerCo Blue Sites Telco in Portugal. It is the fourth global market in which Everest has invested, following the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Blue Sites Telco, established in 2017, is Portugal's largest communications tower lease aggregation platform. The corporation, headquartered in Lisbon, operates over 300 towers in 18 locations nationwide. The acquisition expands Everest's tower portfolio to include more than 2,500 communications tower sites throughout its four markets while granting the company access to a $1.5 billion capital raise.

Everest confirmed that Flavio Siqueira had been named President of its European division. Siqueira served as vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Phoenix Tower International for three years, in addition to employment at SBA Communications and Brazilian telecommunications company Oi.
