ESR and Stack have broken ground on a new data center campus outside Osaka, located in Japan’s Kansai region. The Keihanna campus will offer 72MW of capacity and span 53,110 sqm (571,660 sq ft). The first facility, KIX01A, has begun construction. It will offer 18MW of capacity, and ESR estimates that it will be operational by the second quarter of 2027.
