Digital Realty plans to develop a gigawatt-scale data center campus on 476 acres in Kokomo, Indiana, comprising three single-story buildings.
Kokomo, the county seat of Howard County, is about 50 miles north of Indianapolis.

Located on greenfield land in Industrial Park North near US 31 and County Road 400 North, the campus could deliver 1GW of IT capacity across three million sq ft (278,710 sqm), with completion targeted for 2033. Digital Realty currently has no data centers in Indiana.

Kokomo officials announced Digital Realty’s interest earlier this month. The campus will use closed-loop cooling to reduce water consumption, and the city says no tax abatements will be offered to developers.
