DEAC: DEAC Developing a 10MW Facility in Riga, Latvia

DEAC has announced that it will be developing a 10MW data center in Riga, Latvia. According to the company, the data center will have a capacity to hold 1,000 racks. It will also be built to Tier III standards. Furthermore, sustainability is a goal for DEAC at the data center as it will use on-site solar power to generate power. MY Neste Diesel will also provide backup power for the facility. 

The data center is scheduled to be completed in Q4 2024. The CEO of DEAC, Andris Gailitis, said it is an amazing opportunity to develop a sustainable data center that meets customers' needs. DEAC was founded in 1999, and it owns a 0.4MW and 2.3MW data center in Riga. It also owns another 4MW facility in Vilnius that is still under construction.
