DataBank completes seven data center expansion initiatives in the United States

DataBank has finished seven expansion initiatives throughout the United States. Over the weekend, the company announced the conclusion of seven data center projects in Dallas, Las Vegas, San Diego, Irvine, and Kansas City, in addition to two in Atlanta. In the past year, seven facilities have added more than 15 MW of power and 114,000 square feet of raised floor space to their existing capacities.

Recently, DataBank sold Edge data center company EdgePresence as well as five French data centers. DigitalBridge recapitalized the company and sold a stake to Swiss Life Asset Management AG, EDF Invest, and IMCO, three investment firms. The colo company issued $715 million in secured notes earlier this year as its third securitization release since 2021, with the proceeds funding its expansion program.

DataBank has 74 centers with 2.79 million square feet of raised floor space and 378MW of power.
