CyrusOne is reportedly proposing a new facility located just outside of London in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, UK. The company filed its application in October with Buckinghamshire council, which outlined its plans for the 'Iver Heath Data Park,' a proposal to redevelop the Shannon Group headquarters "to provide a new hyperscale data center, training center and associated infrastructure."

As per the application, the park would see the redevelopment of 63,000 sqm (678,000 sq ft) of data center facilities on 16.59 hectares of land, including 10 data halls offering a capacity of 90MW, with a new on-site substation.

The application details Apt as the project's lead architect, which plans to incorporate sustainable elements into the design, including the creation of a green roof, the development of an "Edible Landscape' orchard, and on-site solar panels. The architect has outlined that the orchard could include cobnuts, native apples, and pear and cherry plum trees; this would also be beneficial for pollinating wildlife, including bees.
