US data center firm CoreSite has topped out its latest facility in Denver, Colorado. Ground was broken on the 180,000 sq ft (16,720 sqm) building earlier this year and it set to launch next year. The company said it was the first purpose-built data center in Denver in more than 20 years.

“At CoreSite, we are committed to supporting the cities and communities where we operate. Our nearly 190 Denver-based employees are beyond excited to further invest in their hometown,” said Adam Post, SVP of corporate development and finance at CoreSite. “On a citywide scale, DE3 will provide customers with the interconnection and improved computing performance needed to thrive, strengthening Denver’s reputation as a tech hub and driving economic growth.”

The company first announced plans for a new Denver campus in late 2023. At the time, the company said it had received conceptual approval for a three-building data center campus development of approximately 600,000 sq ft (55,740 sqm) and 60MW of capacity.
