Colt has announced its expansion into the South Korean market, with the establishment of network hubs in four key carrier-neutral data centers in the Seoul Metropolitan area, which will offer speeds of up to 40G Ethernet Service.

Masato Hoshino, representative director & president/head of Asia said, explained that the expansion into South Korea highlights the company's "continued commitment to customers in the Asia-Pacific region," and puts Colt in a "unique position," given its strong presence in Europe and Asia, which already includes 29,000 on-net buildings and over 1000 data centers in Europe, Asia and North America, combined with the data center infrastructure in Seoul with "new POPs in four major data centers."

He added: "This means that we're well placed to help customers in Korea who are looking to extend their reach globally in addition to multi-national companies who are looking to enter the Korean market, with competitive and reliable connectivity."
