Liquid-cooled data center firm Colovore has launched a new all-liquid facility in San Jose, California.
The company launched its original single-story, 24,000 sq ft (2,230 sqm) facility at 1101 Space Park Drive in Santa Clara, California in 2014. Colovore then announced plans to build a second 9MW facility, known as SJC02, on a neighboring plot in November 2022.
“We’ve officially opened our newest Silicon Valley data center - meet Colovore SJC02,” the company said on LinkedIn over the weekend. “This cutting-edge facility delivers 6MW of ultra-dense, liquid-cooled capacity, purpose-built for the kind of demanding AI workloads our strategic partner Synopsys Inc. is driving forward.”
Colovore recently filed to develop a facility in the Hutto area of Austin, Texas, but is yet to officially announce the project.
