Cologix: Cologix plans to raise $1.1 billion through ABS notes

According to Asset Securitization Report, Cologix is planning to raise funds through a $1.1 billion securitization. Cologix will be issuing Asset-Backed Security notes by using proceeds from seventeen properties as backing. According to filings with the Kroll Bond Rating Agency, Deutsche Bank is the deal's primary structuring advisor and co-bookrunner.
The seventeen data centers to be used in the deal have a total space of 27,900 square meters (300,000 square feet) and up to 36.6MW of capacity. The facilities can also serve over 1,000 customers. Cologix operates 37 facilities across Canada and the US.
