Chickasaw Defense Logistics to build data center at Fort Bragg military base in North Carolina

Chickasaw Defense Logistics is to build a data center at North Carolina’s Fort Bragg military base, which holds 54,000 military personnel. The federal contractor will construct the facility in building E-1351.
According to reports, the contract is worth approximately $15,172,228. That said, its current value rests at $10.6 million. Details around the size of the facility are yet to be announced.
Regarding the scale of data center development from the US army, the Army Directive 2016-38 Implementation Plan outlines plans for ten Army Enterprise Data Centers (AEDC). One of these ten is the new facility at Fort Bragg, while some of the others will be located at Fort Carson, Fort Knox, and Redstone Arsenal.
It is expected this project will be completed by December 31 2021.
