The Brazilian company Zeittec will construct a new federal data center. This week, the corporation announced that a new building would be built for the Paraná Court of Auditors at the TCE-PR (Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Paraná) headquarters in Curitiba, in the southern part of the country. The complex's primary location will be a Zeittec Safe Room. The facility will be able to withstand flames for 120 minutes, will be equipped with a NOVEC 1230 gas suppression system, and will be remotely monitored by the company.
As a backup, the primary site will be connected to a Huawei FM500 modular data center installed in the building adjacent to the Court. Construction and IT system migration is anticipated to take approximately 150 days.
Since the early 2000s, Zeittec has specialized in comprehensive client data center projects, including retrofits, modular, and containerized offerings. It has created data centers for several Brazilian government agencies.
