Bit5ive: Bit5ive and Manhattan Solar Partners plan a large Renewable Powered Crypto Mining Facility in Texas

Manhattan Solar Partners, a joint venture between BIT5IVE LLC and GMine LLC, will be building the largest renewable energy data center in Texas. BIT5IVE LLC builds class A crypto mining centers while GMine explores the capabilities of using green energy in mining crypto. The new data centers by this joint venture will use over one gigabyte of renewable energy in Texas.
The project is ambitious and the companies involved are not well known. Baxtel is encouraged to see renewal projects of this size in the planning stage, but we are skeptical that the project will come to fruition. That said will be happy to be proven wrong.
The construction of the data center is scheduled to start in Q3 of 2021. Operations are also projected to start in Q4 of 2021.
